Cemetery
As early as 1869 the Local Authorities of Grijpskerk had promised the Jewish inhabitants the property of the in 1867 newly founded General Cemetery.
When in 1879 the Jewish Congregation Grijpskerk was actually formed, the Local Authorities kept their promise of 1869.
A piece of property was provided that was sufficient for 120 graves.
