Cemetary
In 1833 Heiman Levies van Dam submitted a request at the Local Authorities to cede a piece of the property of the General Cemetery for the Jewish population.
When this wasn't successful, the Jewish people from Warffum bought a piece of property from the Reformed Congregation behind the new General Cemetery in 1885. This was then developed into a Jewish cemetery.
