Rabbis
In 1799 Aron Mozes Frankforter settled in Winschoten. He was born in Frankfurt/Main in about 1746. He had previously lived in Steinfort and Zwolle successively.
In 1802 he is inaugurated as Rabbi and precentor of the Jewish Congregation Winschoten. In 1806 and 1807 he was occupied as Rabbi in Veendam. In 1808 he returned to Winschoten and remained Rabbi of the Jewish Congregation Winschoten until his death in 1831.
